i think it was a slight dip in fuel actually but i will check back with the logs. It could have also been bump in the road. He did start the pull at two differ rpms which is what made it tough for initial spool but i am happy the pulls are as close as they are.

He is actually running fairly conservative boost due to having the stock worm clamps. MIVEC and timing aren't anything special though. Car just liked everything i guess.

Edit: Small dip in fuel but other wise everything is fine. There are a couple counts of knock but timing is steady - doesn't pull timing <3 counts. Must be a road thing since engine load doesn't dip.

it is my typical MIVEC map that mikie helped me tune. I did add a touch of MIVEC up top which helped it not fall off.

to 08 Subarus now have two cam maps for some odd reason. there are also a total of 5 tables you need to tune to get the DBW correct. stupid ******....

they still follow the same shape though- i still don't understand why the stock evo map looks the way it does.

can austin come out and play? are you down for chicken bone one day this week?

the X has 2 maps for each cam too. I haven't done much reading on what it does. I think the stock MIVEC map for the IXs are to limit low end torque so you don't break anything, not sure how you would. It makes the car incredibly torquey though. I love it and so does everyone i have use the map on so far.

Thursday/friday work best for me for wings and beer.

Let me know what you are doing next monday/wednesday. I think there is a dog park in medway i'd like to bring aston to to run around.

i think you are the only one that can know if you need power windows/locks...

me personally - i would totally rock an viii/ix RS. i would have really considered it had there been any left when i bought my car. also, i would def go viii RS > 03/04 viii.

I would never buy an RS. 60lbs of savings and no power windows/locks. What's the point unless you are building a race car?

its all in what you want... me personally, i could deal w/ manual windows/locks. the major point imo is cost, esp new. an rs would have been 3-4k cheaper than what i paid for my car. had it been available when i got my car, i would have strongly considered it but probably still gone with the SE

no ABS, no EBD, no power windows, locks, mirrors, NO HIDs, no radio, no speakers, no sound insulation...i fail to see the value in an RS.

But i'll sell you a factory radio on the cheap.
