It still pains me that we had the chance to vote away income tax and we didn't take it...

They just would have implemented more taxes elsewhere.

The State tax went from 5.95% to 5.3% over a 3 year period. The state took a good portion of those taxes from the town and the towns in turn raised the real estate taxes through overrides. My real estate taxes just went up almost the same amount as my income taxes went down. Most home owners who track their tax and RE taxes can tell you their was no siginificant savings.

yes except i would rather pay higher real estate taxes than income tax. At least my money will go to improving my town rather than into the pockets of idiots.

He ****ed us on the sales tax increase too- and they are still going to do layoffs. Great- I can't wait when I have to go to the RMV and wait 4 hours next time......

My vote goes further locally. For instance, in the next month or so i will be voting to renovate the uxbridge schools. I would gladly pay more taxes for that than some legislation that doesn't even affect me. Not to say it doesn't happen at a town level but it is still lesser of two evils.

I wish they would build a dog run in Framingham. A bunch of people just use the tennis courts, but it would be nice if the dogs could run around in a big field or something.

They built a dog park back in my home town. Everyone thought it was great. Then all the dogs started getting sick.

mikie- are you on FB yet? ...or are you still only on that "I do creepy things in my basement with dead bodies" site??

...and dog parks look good on paper. But once you go, its like a germ fest. I stopped bring Mikah to dog parks, as most owners neglect the fact that their dog poops and no one works there to clean it up. Leaving it there for all other dogs to sniff. Highly common parasite transmitted = Giardia ...dealt with this for over 6 months with Mikah. Not fun once the poo becomes projectile like a super squiter

Anyone know of any place that'll mount tires that you do not purchase from them? I'm gonna buy another set of Blizzaks but I need to have them mounted to my Evo 8 wheels.
