i mean MA will be better wrt taxes, at least for me. i have a feeling Cockley would have taxed the crap out of us even more than we are now. i have no doubt Brown will cater to the wealthy, but i think the middle class will be better off with him. i guess we'll see.
maybe he will try and do some reform on the assinine gun laws in MA

As for gun reform, we would need a Governor that isn't a ****tard to get that changed... Not that it would happened because the idiots of this state don't really understand that legal owners of firearms aren't committing gun crimes.

F1 in Montreal
Katie and I are planning to attend the F1 race in Montreal this year (June 11-Jun 13). The tentative plan is to drive up (about 5.5 hours) to save some $$.
Anyone else interested in a road trip?
Let me know, I plan to book tickets in the next few days....

Salesman Fail
I took my wife out yesterday to look at 2 local Evo's at used car dealership FS. I start off by telling the salesman that I am trying to convince my wife to let me buy an Evo. This is going be a daily driver.
The first Evo, he starts up is super loud. It's much louder than the other TBE Evo's I have heard (I am thinking great) We looked at for a couple minutes and my wife say 'it's too loud, where is the other Evo'.
The dealer gets the other Evo (which is described as "You'll be hard pressed to find a cleaner 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution", this is bar far the worst Evo's I have seen, it had 5 or 6 places where it has scratch something, dent in fender a bunch of stains in the interior, the other Evo they had was much nicer).
Fortunately this one much quieter, (It still had a full TBE). I look under the car and mention to the salesman it doesn't have a cat. So he goes on for 10 minutes about great a race car these are. You don't buy these for gas mileage. They taking a beating and keep going. He is kicking the front bumper to show how tough they are. Pretty much anything he could say that would convince my wife this is horrible daily driver. I guess the only thing he didn't say was that it was unreliable.
We get back in the car to leave the dealership, and my wife says to me. 'that guy was a poor salesman, It seems like he was almost trying talk me out buying an Evo.'

I understand that in most cases that will be true. The main reason I went to that dealer was to have her check out an Evo. My wife can't be convinced to go much more than town over to look at an Evo or any car, so have two of the different style down the street was a bonus. Given that I will most likely have to travel to find the right used Evo, this maybe the only time she sits in one before I purchase one.
