I'm leaving at noon. And I found out today that WORKS is closed today for the holiday. I guess the 3 things I wanted to order today will have to wait till wednesday. Dude, slow days at work suck. I spend way too much money!!!!

Hey mikie...are you liking the new Sti??? You are a subie nut, let me know what you think. I am so undecisive when looking for a new car. This being a wagon, its a favorable option for my next ride. I want similar to on par performance and handlingwith Evo, but need more versatile chassis.

I don't know a lot about it yet since I haven't had a chance to see one in person and check it out. The '07 had a lot of problems with the stock tune and fuel system- people were cracking pistons more often than they should have. I know the fuel system has been updated (higher flowing pump and bigger injectors for 2008) but I don't know about how the stock tune runs. The truth is that the 2.5L turbo Subaru motor puts out more greenhouse gas emissions than a Lambo Murcielago. They do some really assinine things to the OEM tune to get the Subie to meet emission standards (stoich fuel ratios under boost until 4500 RPM in cases).
So, I guess it seems like it has a lot of potential- I'd probably highly recommend getting it tuned if you were going to get it. Also, the 07+ ECUs are different than the previous years, so they are trickier to tune. I've never touched one personally, but I know of some reputable shops grenading motors because they didn't understand how it worked.
