Actually everyone on Rt9 had awd or was daring enough not to care. I was traveling comfortably in 4th gear at about 40 the whole ride.

rte 9 wasn't bad at all. i could get the car to lose traction very easily though. there was one accident eastbound near rte 27.

our street was messy, but the rest of the roads were ok. they were definitely due for a plowing again. my guess is they will wait a bit until it accumulates.

our tax money at work.....i did bring leftovers for lunch so at least i don't have to venture out at lunchtime.

the only two people who showed up so far are my boss and me. might be a quiet day......

And I am fortunate that the insurance is covering all of the replacement clear bra. I have rental coverage too, so I am still able to get around.

I was saving up to buy a beater, but it looks like a good chunk of that money is going to pay the deductible, so that is getting put off for a while.

I am out of any meets until I get a better handle on this.

its clean, primered black. I'm going to see how much phil wants to do the swap. I picked it up from Rich, he's friends with the DSG guys, and rolls in a silver MR SE wingless (with the holes plugged). It was good to see his MR wingless - cause honestly it looks pretty good to me.

Dex i am not a huge fan of the wingless only because i love the wing but i think it is different, for around here anyway, and if you like it mang do it. I would still get some quote at other places though. I would also consider waiting until the spring to get it painted so it cures properly. I could talk to camaro greg and see if he could do it for the price of paint too man, we painted most of his car this winter.

yeah, i was asking mikie about painting it myself - but i haven't done that kind of work since high school. 12 years now? ideally i would like to get it painted and swapped as cheap as possible.

well, there's another option to consider-

we can pull your hood off and paint that flat black primer too and leave the hood and trunk the same color. maybe do the roof too.

what do you think?
