i just read a post on one of the subaru forums about someone blowing up their motor because they used 70w90 gear oil in it.

i didn't have to provide proof of purchase. maybe you can ask him for the receipt just in case? i have had no issues with the drums yet... i sort of remember hearing the pedal is known to break but i didn't do a ton of research on it.

I would assume the proof would be sending back a defective part. Paul did you give them a CC# in case you didnt send back a core?

i honestly think you are safe. they acknowledged the problem, so i think the best course of action is to play as much as possible so that any issues will arise immediately and you can get them fixed with no questions asked
