same here tim, I am by no means a tuner and am still learning basics as far as ecu stuff and logs go. Thus the reason I was really leaning towards Ivey. I would love if a group of us could go down on a friday night, get tuned saturday and head back. He quoted me a price for a basic tune with the mods I'll have by then and I could book it about a week or 2 in advance...pm me if you want any info or price stuff etc.
I can tune my piggyback ECU.. and have the laptop, programs and cables etc.. I just don't know how to tune so i just datalog... a lot

yea no problem man, I know he's talking with ams so it's just going to be decision time for me. the price is definitely reasonable considering it includes dyno time and the quality of his tunes. I know anj and I are planning on going down and maybe we could coerce tim to come as well!

Marshall, I am being hesitant on adding myself on the list. Reason being is that I need a full tune. I am not a tuner, nor do I know how to self tune yet, so I have to outsource that. I know Paul S, and anja (i think) are in need as well. So, before I add my name, I want to get myself squared away with that first. I don't want to pay for 3 pulls, or 1 hour, if my car is not ready. I will join the festivities and hang out. If my car is, or will be ready for it, I will hit you up and see if there is room left in the day to do so.
What I am thinking we could do is try and get people street tuned somewhat before, and then use the 3 pulls to give you some additional info on your tune (or use the hour and make some real progress). Just as an example, after I got my GSX all together, I went up to F1 in ME for a DD. In one hour I went from a baseline of about 200 whp, to over 300 whp. From there, street and track tuning got me where I wanted to be. But we all still have some time, so there is no rush yet.

Okay Paul, I will list what will be in the car prior to the tune. As for as an overnight trip...I will have to fine point the date. My crazy schedule isn't very co-operative.
list will be in your pm box

As for the meet tomorrow, what exactly are we doing? Should we just hang out at my place?
Ideas?
We do have to celebrate a certain someone's birthday at some point!! Maybe we can do that Wednesday?
