i know, but they claim it was mailed out a while ago. i have a feeling it got eaten by the post office. considering i have a stack of mail addressed to people who don't even live on my street, i guess that's not really a vote of confidence for them.

Well I am certainly open to some help! I'll be at Bella's sister's garage in Marlborough (a few minutes away from Dave's). No heat, but it should be about 40 anyways. I might be able to steal a direct fired heater from work...

Just not sure about the whole removing broken bolt senario. I have a brandy-new one to replace it though!

Ya, I have both. I am just worried, seeing that it is my turbo...of course it could make for a great reason to get a 35R

On a side note, I plan on working on the Evo ALL DAY Saturday

(change oil, remove hotside & exhaust manifold, remove broken bolt, replace all gaskets, tighten everything back up, finish running in-car boost controller, install WBO2, etc...)
Let me guess...would this be one of the bolts in the flange on the turbo housing to the manifold??? If so...I have that same issue in my stock turbo here on teh shelf at work. Been sitting there a year and still haven't finished drilling it out
drilling out broken bolts <----- Maybe I should let it play 'TUrcO Wins!!!

Paul, I am going to order a Russell Perf ss clutch line ($30) today. 4-6 days to me direct shipping. Do you want one for a future install? Let me know before I order. I do want to do this during teh upcoming warmer climate months.

If anyone else is interested just hit me up.

It's actually a turbo to O2 housing bolt. I still have a chance to break a bolt going to the manifold

I wish you all the luck. I went through 7 bits and still didn't get it out. The tap set did not help. It is frozen solid. I should just send it to teh machine shop down the road and make it their problem.

Paul I am not doing the clutch pill this weekend. I think dave and I are going to have a clutch-pill-removal day. That should be fun. You have to remove a decent amount of stuff to get to it. I really want to install my wideband.

Tim, Marshall actually had a seized bolt from the o2 housing to the turbo hotside. The bolt broke in half. I had a bolt seize from the mani to the turbo though. Everything but the threads came out. I just tapped it, it seems fine. Stupid bolts.

Yea I figured it was a general consensus for that one. Maybe next week, unless you guys do anything on weekends (cept for this one..)

there is a pill in the clutch line to prevent hard engagement when you let off the clutch. it basically drags the clutch instead of instantly engaging it. Thus why evo clutch die soon after launches. I found out the camaros had the same problem but they actually have to drill out the pill. They also have braided clutch lines from the factory.
