...its a truck motor they stuffed into the 240 for cutting production costs. There was no reason they couldn't put the 3.0 V6 like the one that was in my sisters '92 Maxima SE. That thing ripped for a stock sedan back in the day!!

Yeah but the V6 has never been non-transversally mounted until the 350. The KA is actually a very good motor once built and boosted. It makes loads of torque and are decently reliable. Most people just swap the SR20 in becuase parts are more readily available and for JDM bling. I would trust either motor.

yea man i had heard the ka24 was strong... im sooo pissed the xterra doesn't come in 4wd with that engine... i'd much rather have that than the v6... cheaper, easier to work on, more economical

not really. The v6 is pretty efficient, that is until you slap a supercharger on it.

The engine itself is more economical, but asking it to move the weight of this vehicle around is asking it alot. ALthough torquey, in stock form which you will be in, you really use the K24 to push that thing around town. If you can swing it, opt for the V6 4WD. The Nissan V6's have always been very efficient. If the 350Z had a back seat, I would not be posting in this forum right now. I had a deposit on an '04 track edition, the lack of back seat killed the deal after some serious thinking for long term.

yeah man i agree, I was never a fan of the car on the inside. For the amount they sell for new they aren't worth it.

Who's to say that a tiger couldn't get out of pretty much any enclosure, given that it felt pissed off enough? the 12-footx30-foot distance is supposed to remind you that this cat means business.
