Just to be technical, I think you have your clutch terms all mixed up...

Your clutch is engaged when the pedal is depressed (under normal driving). Power is sent from the engine to the transmission, to the wheels. When it is disengaged, (clutch pedal pressed) power is not transferred to the transmission. I am assuming it happened when your pedal was depressed while cruising. But your clutch can and will slip when it is depressed when it can no longer handle the power (torque) being transferred from the engine.

Let me know if anything does not make sense...

FYI - most town libraries have passes you can get (or buy passes at very reduced prices). Also, I think they can validate you parking so you only pay $20 at that garage. We did this when we went on the aquarium whale watch. Still a rip off, but not as bad.

yeah...my quick decision to park as close as possible was in the Boston Harbor garage. I didn't even look at the signs. Website stated $5....next time I will look at the name of the garage when pulling in. The issue wasn't the $32 (although steep for 2.5/hours)...it was calming Elesha down after I spent the $32 on parking

Reset the DMA operation if there is a MUT timeout. 2. Move the DMA setup code from the MUT routine to the serial receive interrupt - this will improve response times and also allow the code to be universal for all ECUs. I want to make it really easy to patch.

What I will end up producing is the PC stuff and the ECU patches to allow reading and writing of RAM areas in the ECU using DMA. Tephra seems to be happy to move his maps to RAM (fuel, timing, boost, and I'm sure MIVEC can be added) and will add a routine to his patches to copy ROM to RAM when the ECU is first powered up/reflashed. My stuff will then allow editing these.

I also need to look at the common register addresses between the SH7052 (7/8) and the SH7055 (9). If possible my DMA code will be common for all... we'll see what I can streamline. I have what I want to do pretty clear in my head now I've seen where Tephra is going with his stuff and I now know what I want to focus on as above.

yeah that is what he is talking about in the post. Boost, timing, fuel and most likely mivec.

boost and fueling are probably the least important. timing and mivec will be where you will save a lot of time IMO.

that's awesome news though. i wish someone would do it for the subie.....
