Turco, this is true. I only need it for the damn axle nuts. I can actually get around that though.

If I can get a beater asap, it will be much easier. I can leave the car down for a bit longer and get everything done slower

Mikie / Turco - Is there a chance I can manage some time to get my stock exh man ported and coated? I wanna swap out my tubular. I know you guys have done this before. Which would be a big help. Let me know if/when we can do this on some random saturday or something. And what I will need to bring for supplies. Let me know, kthxbai

I would talk to mikie, he is the porting master. We should have enough coating to do another manifold and I know vegas wanted to do one as well. Maybe mikie can set something up.

just let me know whenever. i think i managed to get through turco's stuff in the time it took to consume a 6 pack of beer.

i think the only thing you'd need are some surfacing discs for the air grinder. other than that i have everything else.

I love it how something as simple as a tuning day can get everyone off their asses and getting their mods on.

So what are/will all you guys be running for exhaust setups?

paul s: megan downpipe, HFC + aftermarket catback (forget which you said)
you have the downpipe and exhaust on currently right?

turcos: megan downpipe, HFC + stock catback? all but HFC installed now?

dextors: megan downpipe + testpipe + stock catback? but right now you just have the turbo xs catback and stock cat/downpipe?

EDIT: what do you run davidsface?

im curious to hear what everyone's exhausts sound like at idle, cruise and WOT. i *might* consider a downpipe + HFC this summer. i don't think i want to get an aftermarket catback unless it is really discrete and i definitely dont think i want to go the test pipe route.

Paulnsexr

Megan DP + HFC (either perrin or this mil.spec 100 cell) + fujitsubo rm-01a

I have all but the HFC installed...love the sound and can feel a power increase. The sound is very subtle, but has a low groan on the highway

Paulnsx-

The cat-back Paul S has is the sure one to go with if you want it subtle.

I will be running the stock catback. For what i am looking to make goal wise i dont have a reason to really upgrade. The DP and HFC is where you will make a majority of the gains from anyway.
