Well, I have the paint and prep supplies here for doing the lip red if I so choose to add it. It is a simple process. But I did not want to have it done by the powdercoater. I think this current look is much cleaner. Although, I was pulled over last year on the way to The RedHook Brewery in Portsmouth NH, and the State Trooper complimented the wheels and gave the car an overall

Me confused. conflict of interest??

His banning had nothing to do with his expression of "political" issues on this site. Which, by the way, were unfounded and irresponsible. I would be happy to discuss those issues with anyone in the feedback forum or via PMs.

He escalated this way beyond what was necessary. He created a second account (he was not banned at the time) which I removed. His account was banned for 7 days for multiple accounts as per our rules. During that timeout he sent PM's to the staff via another website that made a permanent ban mandatory. Because of the nature of the PMs, I will not go into details. Please PM me if you have additional questions or concerns.

We are reviewing our options relative to the content of the messages. The ban is permanent.

it seems like having them both hooked up causes enough draw to make the car unhappy. the avcs solenoids, IACV, and a whole slew of other things are all powered off one 5v line. i can't easily find another 5v source in the car either.
ah, ok - didn't realize you had so much crap running off one 5V circuit. making a new 5V circuit is pretty trivial for a simple sensor. just about any 5V regulator from radio shack will work. an inline fuse would be nice too.

i have to hit up the 'shack at lunch. i won't bother fusing it since it will only be there for a few days while i get some data to calibrate it. hopefully, i can do that tonight, depending on when i get out of work....
