It's new, and pricy, so probably not what you're looking for, but figured it couldn't hurt to post.

Cliff notes? I tried to make an account but i have to wait for moderator activation.

if you heal toe, there is no need to double clutch.

you can actually heal toe without using a clutch. just ask turco...i've demonstrated it before......

Actually, if you heal toe, there's no need to wear shoes...your feet are essentially invincible!

I just need something powerful enough to handle the photo editing and maybe some video editing. I'd like to sell our 3.3 GHz Dell desktop but I doubt anyone would buy it.

Ugh, when it rains it pours, man... 60K service, Bathroom, need new tires, new laptop....i'll be bleeding cash for a few months

I just making a pun at your "heal" toe versus heel toe.

I double-clutch every time I downshift, actually. It's fun to do and I do believe that it saves wear on your synchros. There are 3 components whos rotations need match before smoothly going into gear. Input shaft - Synchros - Output shaft.

I still believe that, without double-clutching, you will not ALWAYS match all three. However, I understand the following to be true:
  1. Double clutching can take more time
  2. Boffing a double clutch makes you look like Timmy
  3. Synchros are there so that you don't HAVE to double clutch
  4. There are plenty of instances were Input - Synchro - Output speeds are close enough anyway that there's no need to double clutch.
So, I dunno, I just do it 'cause that's the way I learned. Plus, if I ever need to drive a 50's car with straight-cut gears, I'll be just fine!

And, double clutching makes you feel like a racecar driver!

So, in conclusion, I don't disagree with you (i think?), I do double clutch (I know), and heal toe is a medical procedure.

Great price! Gosh. I am a little leary about gen1 solid state drives. That happens to be pretty far out of my budget. But, overall, a good deal. I has to talk to the boss.

You think it's legit...AKA, I won't get a knock on my door from the police in 6 weeks and get charged with receiving stolen property.

Also, I think I am more interested in a Macbook or MacbookPro with 4 GB ram...we shall see.

gotcha. that was my understanding. **** THE SYNCHROS i say....I figured if I didn't frag my wrx transmission, then any normal transmission would hold up just fine.

I think I can get a discount on apple stuff through work, but I don't think it's great. I can check though. Do you know anyone in college? An educational discount might be the way to go.....

my brain is fried. i need a vacation. the month of april is going to pwn me so much **** to do and not nearly enough time....
