It is getting louder the longer it runs. So far it isn't too loud, but it is increasing. Nothing I am concerned about what so ever. I knew going into getting this pump that its nickname is teh 'Winebro'
What did fight me was the single bolt at the back of the cross member when I was changing the BLOX mount. When I took the bolt out, all the threads stripped. So it had to have been cross-threaded when it was originally insatlled at the factory. Gay. Took an extra 25 minutes to fix the threads. But all is good now
I love the difference teh BLOX mount made. I didn't think I would feel the difference that much. Definitely liking it!!
Only a few miniscule things left to do before the tune. God am I anxious!!!!
Now we are off to a benefit dinner tonight. Gotta go get ready. I was told many beers have my name on them. Much needed after the week I had.

i ended up with 375whp and 350wtq @ 27+ psi.
i can't really log boost above 24 psi, though, so i can only see peak on my gauge.

Wow, productive weekend.
Mikie and Mike...making some sweet power! Nice job, boys.
Paul, I've had my Walbro in for a year, on some (cool) days it's very quiet but on others (hot) it sounds like someone left a dentist's drill in your back seat.
White Paul, glad you got everything buttoned up...I found a high-temp sealant that I amy begin using on the block instead of teflon tape...i can point you in that direction if you ever need it.
As for me: New water pump, timing belt, balance belt, balance belt tensioner pulley, timing belt tensioner pulley, and timing belt idler pulley (b*tch) are all in. I just need to set the timing this morning and take her out for a ride. W00t!!
I'll prolly do the motor mount, too since the car's already up and has a jack under the motor.
oh well, off to the gayrage. if anyone wants to hang out later, gimme a ring!

Nice numbers Turcos and Mikie!!!!!!
Seems like you got a ton accomplished Dave. Major services can be a real b!tch. Did you go with all OEM parts, or did you go with any specific company for your belts?

Paul i am not a fan of merc mainly due to the amount they cost but their motors are pretty awesome. But i swear to god if they change the aston exhaust note, heads will role.

Looks like I screwed something up.
I had everything on and running OK a few times. Then i gave it some gas and the belt slipped.
I hope that I haven't damaged my valves but i guess it's a possibility.
I'm just going to leave it alone for the night and look at it tomorrow.
I've posted in the Engine forums and sent some PMs to some experts so I am awaiting their replies.
I still can't be sure of what happened. All I know is that the t-belt tensioner pulley slipped and the crank was skipping teeth.
I'll keep you updated. and ya, all OEM parts.

turbodan said that it sounds very likely that the tensioner pulley could be loose or just turned the wrong way in the oval hole.

The rear O2 sensor, EASY to get off the cat. I sprayed it friday night 3 or 4 times with liquid wrench, then in the morning used a vice to hold the cat in place and a torque wrench to unscrew it. Took about 3 tugs and came loose I was surprised to say the least.
Turco, I meant dp/cat connection (not dp, my Bad) The little shield that basically goes over the Cat. Although I checked it yesterday and clearance was fine. And when I started it up yesterday, no noise...so we'll see if it returns.
EDIT: Also, fixed my headlight bulb vibration, and re-sprayed all my front mesh black yesterday.....Paulnsexr, you should consider that! lol
