Hey guys, does anyone know if anyone is selling any IX front and rear seats locally? I've scrounged the classifieds and nobody wants to ship em.

No problem, but you owe me a beat run when the car is tuned.

They want roughly about $600...

Glad you got your car back together!
I'll never F another one up again... I really shouldn't have made the mistake that I did but as a newb it was difficult to understand a crucial part.

It's important to have the special tensioner tool, too. Despite the fact that it can be done without it. With the tool, Marshall and I set the tension perfectly on the first try.

If you have someone that will do it with you and has experience then it's no biggie at all. I just wouldn't go it alone on your first try.

You just have to take your time.
Double and Triple check everything.

Or, not replace the timing belt tensioner pulley.

Had I never touched that bolt, there would have been 0 problem!

I ended up replacing the water pump, timing tensioner pulley, balance shaft tensioner pulley, and timing belt idler pulley (huge PITA). Probably all overkill.... just swapping in some new belts wouldn't be too bad.

If only I didn't have an Evo to put back together (and finish a 60K service on) and a bathroom to finish demolishing before I start and finish remodeling. Oh, and a lappy to fix.

Sorry, Lee...not a great time right now....

Dave, if you went back what would you not replaced. Do you think the idler pulley needed to be replaced? Did all the pulleys come in the kit from mitsuparts?

Yea I was told my water pump would be fine until 120K... along with the pulleys. Or that's what the general consensus in the Ralliart section is.. The tensioner looked fine when I took a look at it, though that could mean nothing to anyone else.. just a visual check. I don't even know how to replace the belts..
