I'd like to suggest either an MBC or Ecu-direct boost control, but I know that's probably a bit extreme right now... just ease into it.

i had swift springs on my sti struts. i love them. if the sti struts didn't suck so much donkey dick and fail after 9 months, i might still have them.

Tim, I'm telling you man, I would wait til next year before getting a X, I think they still have some "bugs" in them...imo...all I have seen is nothing but B*tching and complaining (about 80% of the Evo X threads I've read) about the new Evo X's...
I know man. Believe me, I have been reading everything. So glad I pushed back my decision to purchase. Time will tell.

yeah man. slowly but surely i think is the way to go. i certainly really appreciate all your guys help . swifts and a turbo-back would be a nice addition. are there ever fitment issues if you piece together a turboback system? i.e. dp from one manufactuer, hfc from another and cb from another? the cobb turboback seems like a decent deal at 1100, no? im looking at about that much for the megan dp/hfc + tanabe i think.

I'm not that experienced with the Cobb, but I hear good things about them...$1100 isn't too shabby.

I pd $550 shipped for the tanabe.

I'm running an Apex'i DP, Helix HFC, and Tanabe CB...I was previously running Dex's TurboXS CB. No fitment issues...as long as each piece you get is meant to work with the rest of the stock system you should be OK.

I should get a new DP though, it's only 2.75"

And, according to the State Police, it sounds like a helicopter when it's parked on teh side of the road with the motor off. jerks.

They were just in jerk mode that day.

I have to say, as much as cops are pr*cks most of the time, most of the tickets I have received in the Evo have been well deserved

Hahaha. The town cops have been very nice to me...I don't feel like I deserved either ticket that I received from Staties (my only 2 tix, actually).

But I'm not saying they're all bad...just the ones that popped you for a parked-and-turned-off car with loud exhaust.

I will be getting tuned (appx 1pm), and hanging out afterwards for a while. So, if you are attending or stopping by, I will be the sexy midget wearing a bikini

I am axiously awaiting an infamous "meet at Dave and Kate's" with a lil bbq action

Although I paid more than that for my tb compnents, I too sound like a war zone. My VIII is louder than my 600RR when it had a full Ti exhaust
