Pics-(NO56)Maine Forest Rally-no56k

Hey all, these are pics from the New England Forest Rally this weekend, as you can see, as usual it's all subaru's with two or three scattered Evos. I was one of two spectators that had an Evo, mostly it was STi's and WRX's respectively. Hope you all enjoy the pics, sorry for the quality, the Canon 20D should be arriving shortly!

Yes, this is a woman driver, Amy from Cali, representing an VIII

Mine, it was like a needle in a haystack..

My guy Seamus Burke, representing the IX's! Of course he had gearbox troubles and didnt complete the rally...if I had known I'd given him mine!

Getting some air..

Pastrana...

Block...

Amy driving an Evo the way it should be!..

Beginnings of the night stages...

Tim O'Neil...

Seamus again, at this point I believe 8th overall, til the next day..

Beginning of day two, tarmac to gravel stage..

Final stages, travis was flying here! Someday he'll be legit on WRC I hope

Great time, weather was pretty decent both days, hopefully I'll see more Evo's next year with me!!!

Lol silly question..

When there's no rallying going on, are these roads closed? or are they in use?

lol i mean can people just go on these roads? (the dirt/gravel roads im referring to)

Some of these roads are public roads, some are private, it's getting harder and harder each year for the rally to take place on certain trails, and new trails, as some organizations, like environmental ones and private ones try to stop it. But for the most part you can ride on them whenever you want. The night stage was on a public road, so they had to close it off, and parts of the morning stage was public, which also had to be closed off. These roads are definitely fun to drive with the right setup!

As for the STi with pink wheels...hmm..didnt see that one, did see a black wrx with blue wheels though...lol
