I think my post answers why I would go to Buschur, AMS, or Ivey before I would go to John for AEM tuning.

evodan2004, well since everyone knows I was the one driving the cars on the dyno, I guess that makes me the one *****ing? I can't remember what I said, I don't remember saying anything negative against Jestr, I don't know him, never met him and until this weekend don't think I have ever seen a car tuned by him. So, I doubt I had anything negative to say about HIM. I may have busted the car owners chops for having a Jestr shirt on as I knew the car had some of our stuff on it. Big deal, I busted a bunch of guys chops over the weekend.

I did say I had NEVER seen a reflashed EVO with a blow through maf on it or one tuned at 37-38 psi. Big freaking deal. You ask what kind of tuner that makes me? Let me answer, I guess it makes me one that doesn't do blow through maf's and stock ECU tunes at 37-38 psi of boost. That's pretty simple.

BTW, next time you guys are here, if you have a problem, feel free to confront the person about it, including me. Don't run home to your keyboards like a bunch of pussies and then talk.

Jestr, if there is a problem between you and I, and I don't think there should be, but just in case, feel free to pick up the phone.

I am hoping other than me saying I hadn't seen a blow through with a reflash there is nothing else I am being accused of.

The car made good power to 7500 rpm and I said it did.

I had the AEM EMS previously and John tuned it, I made 371/372 on C16 @28psi with intake, licp, ic, uicp, turbo back exhaust and HKS 272/272, still on 9.8 hotside. He did a great job and the car ran amazing. This was on CFT's dyno August one year ago.

F'in tuner wars every single day... Everyone has their preferences. Who's the best? No way to ever know except have a tuner showdown. Same car, same mods, same conditions, same dyno and go to town tuning. Look at what all these guys have done! All great services and companies.

John is a great person, for more then his tuning. I'm lucky enough to have John as a local tuner, but one thing I have to add about him is that he cares about all and every single person he tunes. If something you feel isn't right, he will bust his ***** until you're satisfied. I have yet to hear someone say something negative about a single tune of his!!!! The man has made wonders with my car and after he tuned it, I do nothing but smile and enjoy my car. On flashes, John is my go to guy, and I gladly represent his work! Period!

Just for the record I have talked to John a few times since the shootout and he has never mentioned a single word about Dave Buschur PERIOD! Not one, so any hostility is between a forum member and what they posted. Again I know John has not spoken a single negative word about Buschur.

badevo, well that is good to know. As I said, I can't imagine I said anything about him as I don't know him, have never met the guy and until the yellow EVO was on our dyno this weekend I never saw any of his work. I did bust the owner of the yellow EVO's ***** a little about his Jestr shirt, it was in good fun though.

As I thought about this today I remembered the crap talking that you guys are talking about, I didn't take part in it.

Whatever, tons of tuners out there. I wish he had introduced himself if he was at the shootout.

John was actually going to introduce himself, but things got hectic with all the dyno runs and what not, then the rain out. He met Jarrod though.

I think we both know who said what they said about John in that bay ( it WASNT DAVE) and thats prob one of the reasons he didnt come forward at that time. But anyway, look forward to seeing the make up date for the shootout!

Yes I did get the chance to meet John while he was here. He introduced himself to me out in the parking lot and we talked for a few minutes. He does seem like a pretty decent guy.
