Since most of us Long Islanders hang out down there and were constantly seeing each other drive by I figured it would be pretty easy to put together weekly meets there. I'll be down there around 10:00 tonight anyone else gonna be there?

Thanks, I've had mine for a month and bought it at Island Mitsu bishi. During the summer I've been there Fridays, and Saturdays.

No. I started the day driving up to Springfield Mass for the meet. It was super hot and getting in and out of the car with the a/c on caused me to get sick. I started feeling it at about 11pm and I went straight home. I was sick for almost two weeks. You know what I said July 12th, I am sorry I meant July 5th.

Im in DC tonight but I'm flying home tomorrow afternoon, so I'd be down to go out tomorrow or sat night. Paintball place again?

Most of the EVO guys seem to meet up by Dunkin Donuts, I haven't gone to the paintball place.

Nvm me... strangely I've been going there for a couple weeks now and still didnt notice there was a paintball place.

 

The turnout is slowly getting better.. I actually was the black Evo that got pulled over a few weeks back.. Finally got fed up and put my front plate back on.

As long as the weather is nice this friday, I'll be out with the Evo.. Saturday night I'll probably bring out the Malibu.

 

I'll be out there late Fri nite assuming I can get somebody to come w/me...

 

I was coming back from a night out east about 11:30pm going west on the Southern State from Sunrise Highway with the wife resting comfortably in the passenger seat when what looked like a silver Evo blew by. I raced to catch up and there was also a yellow car racing too. As I caught up I realized that it wasn't an Evo but a Lancer. They were flying going triple digits. The yellow Lancer exited at DPA north. I followed and I could not believe all of the police cars out. The worst I have seen. Must have been 15 cars pulled over plus a southbound checkpoint where offenders were brought into a parking lot for a Suffolk County revenue stop.

As I passed the railroad tressle I saw the parking lot was full and at least a Rally Red Evo.

I headed home and took the Evo out of the garage and headed down. By the time I arrived about 12:10am there were no Mitsubishi's there. I spoke to John for a while in his late 60's Camaro and then headed south. The revenue stop was still in operation so in order to avoid a request for a donation because I have no front plate I went down a side street.

That was probably my Red Evo that you saw, did you pull in and talk to a guy in a G35? Last night was the most uneventful night at dpa that i've had in a long time cops simply cleared out every lot.
