Testpipe

Anybody experienced getting pulled over and got caught with no catalytic converter? How much is the fine? Are NJ cops crazy about people running catless?

I run ets 3.5 inch exhuast resonator less and catless... never had an exhuast ticket or pullover yet. thats a year of owning the evo a 4 years of owning a ksawpped civic

hahaha you dont wanna know the fine....10,000 yes 10g's if they can prove you removed it or they will fine the shop that did it for you....obviously only if you rat them out

That would be an easy 10,000 for them since it is very easy to prove that the cat has been removed.

Sorry for cluttering this thread.
10g??? sorry to clutter also but i just got pulled over Thursday and i drive an 04 8 with a Magnaflow full Ti TBE and stainless testpipe driving home with too many kids in the car 5(provisional license) not for speeding very cool cop asked for my stuff politely and then said sorry i pulled you over i just thought Ur exhaust was a little too loud(looked down at my license saw i was Provisional and said do any of them live with you i just said yes...he said okay) he walked to his car saw that i have absolutely nothing on my license or plates...not even warnings or anything and just let me go after saying sweet ride. Would i have been screwed? 10g seems umm idk just a tad bit too high lol

its only 10gs on the shop...u dont get that fine...thats a big rumor in jersey..i have plenty of cops see the test pipe on my car and they give me "alter to vehicle after inspection" ticket
