MA Inspection for an EVO
Hi im curious if you guys are having any trouble getting your car inspected in Massachusetts..does anyone know of shops that are pretty liberal when it comes to a catback..I will have the stock dp and cat in but I have an aftermarket catback..
Im also gonna be running HKS 272s soon..besides running a little rich with the stock downpipe do I have a good chance of passing?
Any tips or suggestions or places to go?

They dont pop the hood in MA so as long as you can pass OBD scan you should be fine. I havent seen a shop hassle people for exhausts even though i am sure it happens.

Never had a problem at any inspection station. Only... well questions on how fast it really is.
The thing is, they have a right to refuse to inspect you, and should tell you what they think won't pass before they take your $$. Still, if you do not throw any OBDII codes and all the proper readiness checks have been completed in your ECU you're all set.
They *should* have a tint meter to check that, and if your car is lowered, they should have any meter stick to measure the minimum height of your car.
I wouldn't sweat it too much, plus "advertising" that you can throw money at your friend is no good place to say it. There have been known cases where law enforcement etc use this info to bust people (inspectors). Although we all know it happens, keep your messages to PM's at least please guys?
