Man, once you hit the launch right the first time, slipping the clutch just enough but not to much and you come ROCKETING out of the hole banging gears down the track, the rush is like no other I tell ya! We can get you there!

Me thinks you just need some coaching Josh, I will be more than happy to offer ANY help I can at the track. I even have a helmet I can bring. It took me a bit to get use to my car launching and being confident enough in myself AND the car to take it going down the track.

Atleast im not the only one. I felt horrible after my buddy ran a 13.9 in his STi (im pretty sure he cant drive though and it pretty much has all the basic bolt ons) and my best time was a 14.1. I never heard the end of that one.

practice is the only way you get better times. took me about 3 times before i ran times that agreed with my car's power level, and i started running the same times you did. ....
Ditto - even if you lose against the other lane, If you're doing it right, its still a _huge_ rush.

once you pull your first low 60ft its a blast.
for me, I can tell right off the line what kind of 60ft I pulled based on how far or fast the sun roof shade goes back. half way is usually a mid 1.7, all the way back is a 1.6 or better.
