hey ethan, you know the silver evo i had? Junior was the one that tuned that one. Did a great job from what i could tell. pulled 394/365 on an evo 9 turbo. i called about it after i totalled it and they even remembered the car. they were really helpful and i would recommend them any day.
although i am not actually dealing with them. i am getting everything done down at top level performance on long island. the ferry ride is worth it. i had the privelage of checking out their shop last friday when i dropped my car off, and OH MY GEEZ!!! I'll definitely be getting my stuf done there. They specialize in our cars. they were pulling crazy numbers from engines that never should have been pushing that much. all clean as a whistle too. ill definitely getting them to do my build!

Thanks for your input. Its nice to now that there are some Evo oriented places in the CT area. With good reps of course.

Sounds like The Shop CT is getting pretty good responses from a couple of you. I was also looking for a good, reliable shop in CT to tune mine. Guess I'm going there. Do they do parts-installation too? Say, if I need to install a new intercooler or new clutch?

Just something to think about while researching a reliable place to bring your car.

Here is my take on the places to go in ct. i have had my evo tuned by four tuners in ct. pruven, the shop (al), ecs and again the shop (junior). I've gotten 3 clutch jobs, cams, fp green, timing belts, jdm bumper installed at all of these shops.
worst customer service = when al was working at the shop, he acted like a terd and was pretty rude.
shop I do not recommend = Ecs in windsor locks (avoid them) they are good subie tuners, but know not much about evos. they lied to me about a few things and charged me more than what I was quoted. I'd bring my car to the dealership before I brought it to them.
I like the shop (junior tuning) and pruven. if i need any work id bring to either of those two.
