hi everyone, just adding myself to the list of CT owned evo’s . Bought this 2006 evo 9 for $25k form a guy in Tennessee 2 years ago. i’m going to start a restoration project soon. Currently has a new motor but needs a rebuilt transmission because 3rd grinds.
mods our
rebuilt motor and head 9:5:1 manly piston
Fp green
270 gsc cams valve springs retainers
FMIC
Full exhaust system
1200ID injectors
exdey stage 1 clutch
Anyone have any suggestions on which shops are good here in CT to rebuild the transmission and install the the transmission. I’ve been in the car scene for a long time in Connecticut. I’ve heard of a lot of nightmare stories and I usually use out of state performance shops if I have to, but are there any good shops?
