Moving back to NY

So the wife and I are moving back to NY this friday. Anything good going on up there these days. I have been living in florida for the last 7 years.

I am moving back to Central Valley. It is about 60 miles north of the city.

Good luck!! I was supposed to move to NJ, and travelled all around NJ visiting NY too. The cost of living is so high I don't see how people live there. The south's standard of living has me spoiled.

i agree that the cost of living is high....but down here you have to go from company to company to get more money....nothing is stable....there are companies closing everyday here. I never had this problem in NY.

i moved from Tampa to NY also. I'm going to grad school up here. So I'll be back in a few years.
i live in amish country!

are you driving? I was driving up during the hurricane, and took i75. 5 hrs out of the way. the drive was a PAIN, but hey not a single drop of rain!

I will be driving a uhaul with the evo on a trailer behind me. So it will be a long trip. I have done it a few times before, but never with a trailer.
