Still slots left for Saturday. Low turnout makes for more runs.

Um, do I get to drive the green car at this event? You know, reciprocity and all?

I'll go ahead and assume, "yes." Thanks Scruffy, you're the man!

Spin City!!! Only a few other drivers have driven Kermit. Charles was the only driver not to spin it. Of the three instructors who drove it I have 2 with half spins and one with a full spin. My friend Scott looped it on his second run. *** engine slot cars demand respect!

One of the better BMW drivers (not an instructor though) kept egging wifey to go faster. At the last Miata event she let him drive Inky for one fun run. He spun it twice!!! No words from him at BMW last Sunday.

LOL. Didn't Sue mention wanting another fun car she can drive on Auto-x days? maybe something a little less tail happy then Inky... like a Mini.

She will be taking a run in a Miata at the next Miata event during fun runs. 911s are not tail happy, they just drive VERY differently. They are difficult to master and I do not consider myself as mastering mine.....yet. I'm getting close though.

Don't know what Sunday will bring as we may just share Inky for a co drive. Will be trailering it for sure if there is a high chance of rain. Nice to have a dry place to hang out when the weather turns bad.

I really don't want it to rain. The work assignments are terrible in the rain.

Well, is was wet but the rain was just a weak drizzle for the most part. Best I did was a few 81.***s and a stinking dirty 80. Unusual that I did not spin though. Maybe not trying hard enough. Good to see you guys again, and finally meet Smike too.

Last "open to all" event we will be at is SCMC on the 10th of October. So sad, Susan and I have only 6 more events left for the season, 2 of them Sat/Sun events.
I am actually looking forward to the seasons end. 350 sheets of sheetrock were delivered to my house almost a month ago. Somebody has to put that sheet up.

I ended with a dirty 80 as my best time. I still contest hitting a cone though. I don't like that they can't inform us of which corner we hit the cone.

Yeah i am officially done with autox for the season. Have a clutch that needs to go in among some side work, and house stuff.

Scruff let me know if you need a hand with sheetrocking.
