Great thread idea Turco.
I saw you mentioned Tail of the Dragon. I would like to mention that there is a large group of Skyline guys I know organizing a meet down there at the end of May (weekend of the 29-31st). Though it is organized by a Skyline website they have made sure to let those who don't own Skylines know that they are welcome to attend. I am still planning on going. If anyone else is interested or you want me to give you more info on the event, links, etc, let me know.
No auto-x this month for me and May is looking doubtful since I have 2 decient size events to attend already, but I'm open for June!

I'll help you guys out with autocross when I can. Wifey and I are lined up for over 40 events this season. BMW autocross sells out in hours. I need to make most of their events because of season standings. I could have placed last year but I changed my class part way through the year and did not have enough events in one class to qualify.
NESHOC and the other Ford events limit attendance to 50-60 drivers. They are a different group though. Hard core is the word. Novice walk? Nope. Called wifey and I "you Porsche people" until mid season. That's when they figured out that we really are CAR people.
As of Monday there were a few slots open for Saturday, but don't know about now. Sat is SVT-CMC.

Thanks "Porsche person"
I have the saturday event on the list but i don't think many of us had planned to make it. I still need an alignment at the least before i get back to racing.
Good info about NESHOC. I will try to get a good group there so we don't feel so segregated

Last Saturday sucked. It was rainy and cold. Run groups were screwed up to boot. The drivers that I am competing (ER) were in the second run group, and I was stuck in the first run group. Basically I ran 4 wet runs to dry the course for them, and the course did dry out. *******! They got 4 dry runs in and I resigned myself to trying to whoop them with just my afternoon runs. We broke for lunch and just as lunch was done the rain started back and did not stop. Driver that I am after ran a 81 dry. Best I could do was a 91 wet.

DRIVERS WANTED
May 3rd has only 27 drivers so far. They really need 45 to break even. This will be a great event to get a ton of runs in with a low turnout. As it is they often try for ten runs and even have fun runs at the end of the day if weather permits.
