Reading Area Evo Cruise - Sunday Sept. 20th - 9am start
A few of us from the Reading area are putting together a cruise. We will start at Turkey Hill along Rt 10 just south of Reading. Meet at 9am and roll out by 9:15am. The cruise will last about 2 hours wrap up about 11:30am.
If it's alright, I will begin planning the route. This is what I have in mind....
- start on rt 10, go out by Maple Grove Raceway
- stay on the south side of Reading and go through Exeter
- wrap up behind Exeter and hit the Pagoda (break - take pics, etc.)
- run the famous Pagoda Hill Climb route!
- take back roads from the Pagoda to Leesport
- plenty of good roads behind Leesport/Bernville
- finish up on the North side of Reading along 222
If anyone has any suggestions or other points of interest, I will see if I can work it into the cruise. I may see if there is another park we can stop at along the way.
This event is very informal. No need to have roll call or anything, just show up. Here is a map of where Turkey Hill is. There are two fairly close to one another on Rt 10, but this is the one with a Wachovia bank right next to it.
I will keep all updated info in this first post - including any changes to the plan, cruise pics and videos, etc. So keep checking back for updates.

POST CRUISE
Thanks to everyone who came out today. It was a perfect day for a ride! Almost half the roads I hadn't been on before, but I figured they would be good because of location. I'm not trying to rub it in for those who didn't make it out today, but even I was surprised how good some of those roads were today. I will definitely be hitting some of those up again.
Here are some pics where we took our break. Some of the guys had some other things going on today, so they headed out from there. Mike, Donni, and I proceeded to take on the Pagoda Hill climb to end the cruise...twice!!! That was truly some exhilarating driving...tires squealing all around the turns, etc... Mike has some video with an in car camera of the hill climb. Hopefully he posts it soon!
Anyway....here are my pics. I know some of you guys took some too. Please post if you have them.
In order of the first pic....closest to farthest.
