Hello everyone! Just joined these forums today, and I'm excited to say that I just ordered my Evo from a dealership in northern NJ this evening.

The very first thing I want to have done is get a VentureShield put on; can anyone recommend any installers in the NYC / Northern NJ area? I'd like to get as much covered as possible asap, so ideally I'd like to coordinate the car's arrival/pickup with getting the VentureShield (or something similar) put on.

As a sidebar, has anyone in the area gotten one put on by a dealership?

So I've reached out to Nelson @ Clear Image in NJ (http://www.clearfilmprotection.com/) & hope to have him get back to me with some details so that I can get the protection as soon as possible after picking up the car. The earlier post was put up late last night, so I didn't get a chance to list what I got:


GG 2010 Evo X MR Touring being ordered with the following options (descriptions from main site):

- navigation system
- all weather floor mats
- aluminum/leather parking brake grip
- aluminum/leather shift knob
- cargo organizer
- front air dams
- front brake air guides
- front strut brace
- intercooler pipes
- mud flaps
- rear corner air dams
- rear strut brace
- side skirts
- side wind deflectors
- sunroof deflector
- wheel locks

All above @ $41k.


Now in a perfect world, I'd be able to find a way to swap out the BBS RE wheels for new Diamond Black ones w/o paying too much. Those go for >$800 per though, right? I presume nobody is paying anywhere remotely close to that for the Silver ones that come with our MRs, even if completely unused & taken off immediately by the dealership?
