MA: Altered Exhaust Law 90-16??
I got pulled over on RT3N near lowellon the way to NH and i got pulled over for an altered exhaust. 90-16 the cop didn't even tell me why i got pulled over just sked for my papers and came back said "ok Thanks" and hands me a ticket hidden by my license and regi. wtf is that all about. he also gives me a selt belt violation when i was wearing the thing. So here's the thing i live in NH can i be pulled over for this in MA if i'm from NH and is this a surchargeable event?
thanks

If the car is registered in NH, then no, the MA exhaust law should not apply. It is most certainly a surchargeable offense though! If you car is registered in MA, then all you need to do is put on the stock catback, take pictures, and fight the ticket. But fight it either way!
