60K service around NH

OK so I called a couple places to get an idea on the 60k service and timing belt. I knew it was to be pricey but not on the average of $1200 Anyone know of a reputable place that would be less. Closest to me being Nashua Mitsubishi is $1300. If i have to cough up this much so be it but damn. Is this average from everyone's own experience ?

I have the very basic in mechanical skills ( oil change to brakes ) and friends that are in worse shape than me or the ones who can don't have the space to do so. I thought about it but I am limited. Especially when it comes to servicing the ACD which is needed. If someone can offer to do the work in a weekend I have no problem buying the parts and compensating for the work.

i got my 60k tune up done by synaptic a few months ago, they did a really good job and know their stuff, the only downfall was enterprise who screwed me with the price on the rent-a-car, told me one thing and gave me another

I know this isnt in NH but the prices I have been quoted by reputable shops, not dealers, has been right around the 1000 mark. im currently going to be looking for cheaper places as well, since the parts arent that expensive...until you add cams, valvetrain etc etc haha
