My Third Kinda-Annual Scavenger Hunt...
WHAT: Third annual Scavenger Hunt!
WHO: Car Clubs & anyone who wants to have fun!
Posted on: Nasioc, vwvortex, bimmerforums, HONE, CSC, NES, And more!
WHEN: Saturday November 13
The list will be posted at 11am ONLINE, Arrive at finish line at 6pm
WHY: Possibility of winning over $1,000 and lots of fun
WHERE: Start from wherever you want and be at the finish line by NO LATER than 6pm. The Finish line will be at:
Periwinkle & Giorgios

Auburn, MA 01501-1324
Here is the information about the restaurant:
Tables will be for 4, 8 & 10 people.
There will be one bill per table.
An 18% gratuity will be included in the bill.
**I believe if you want to order just drinks, you will be able to get an individual bill**
While we count up every team’s points, everyone can hang out/drink/eat at the restaurant, and then we'll announce the winner! Your team must check in with the organizers as soon as you get there. When you do, you must surrender your items, as well as any camera/memory cards that you used. Being late will result in a 1 point deduction per minute you are late past 6pm, No team will be accepted after 6:30pm
Entry fee is $10 per person on a team. Maximum of 5 members per team. Entry fee is due upon arrival at the finish line. Top two teams split the prize (75/25).
Each team must have a digital camera that can take videos as well. A lot of tasks require videos. Must bring your camera cord to connect to a laptop to retrieve photos and videos.
Organizers/Judges are Hershey & Noah (nperkins)
If you are not 21, DO NOT perform any of the tasks that are for those over 21. The points will not be counted.

oh it wil be.. There are some seriously messed up shenanigans this year... And a few things I need to test out to see if they are even possible to do... lol

You find a team of 4-5 people, come up with a team name... Let me know the team name/members, and then at 11am on the 13th, you look at this thread.. The list will be posted.. You print out the list, complete as much as you can, and be in Auburn MA by no later than 6pm.. We tally up your items completed, and most points wins..

And here are the rules just so everybody is clear...
Rules:
#1. NO PHOTOSHOPS / Internet Pictures! If we suspect its faked, it doesn’t count.
#2. Put a checkmark next to each task you have completed. If you don’t have it checkmarked, we probably won’t accept it because we won’t be looking for it.
#3. All points decisions are at the judges discretion. If we smell BS or don’t feel a task was completed correctly, we reserve the right to deny points.
#4. BRING CABLES FOR YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA! We will have the ability to read SD & CF Cards, but nothing else. I will also have a standard USB cable as well just in case, but to be sure, bring your cable.
#5. DO NOT BE LATE! You must check in with the judges by no later than 6pm. We will be there between 5:15-5:30.
#6. When you check in, you must have all of your items in a bag, along with your digital camera and/or memory cards. They will all be returned after your items have been checked in. Once you check in, enjoy food/drinks at the restaurant.
#7. DO NOT crowd the judges. In the past there have been problems with people trying to look over our shoulders and argue about their or other teams tasks... Not gonna happen this year. We’ll dock points if you make us angry.
#8. Have fun, and be safe. If a task on the hunt needs to be done by somebody over 21, make sure they are over 21. If we don’t think they are over 21, we WILL ask for ID to verify, and if they aren’t, the points won’t count.
#9. All pics/videos can be put online at the judge’s discretion. Anything considered risque or Not work safe will be kept offline at the request of the team upon check-in.
