moved to upstate ny
I'm new to the notheast and looking for a good shop and if there is any interest in track days or back road drives in the area. Any advice about the area or local shops would be appreciated. Hope to see some of u around.

Might be worth the drive to see the folks at STM in Avon, NY right outside of Rochester. It's a small price to pay for an Evolution specialist.

Check out Mohud Scca. We run a pretty good Autox series and will have a PDX at Lime rock in Oct.
Also check out BMWCCA Patroon chapter. We'll be at Lime Rock Fri and Sat this week. There are 2 watkins Glen events with BMWCCA in September. They are a good group to run with. Nicely organized events good instruction.
There are a lot of nice roads in the area.
Albany speed shop (I think they are in the process of moving right now) Does nice alignment work. Synapse does nice fabrication, motor work etc. Good group of guys.
There are other specialized shops in the area as well.
