trade in amount

How much would a subaru dealership generally give me in the new york area for my 2003 evo with 74,000 miles for trade in value. Car is super clean with a clean title and everyone says it looks newer than it is. Car has leather seats which will be a plus in the dealership. Are they willing to work with me if looking for a new car. Just thought Id ask someone that might have done something like this before. Im looking for something around 15,000 trade in since they can sell for way more and the kbb is a little higher.

Sell it privately, you will get more for it.

But you never know, the Suby delaer may pay a high price for it, since it would afterall, be the best car on their lot :P

hahahahahahahaha 8k AT BEST .....dont waste your time getting insulted at the dealer. Just because KKB or other sites say 12-14k doesnt mean thats what your going to get. Better off doing a private sale if you have the time.

EDIT: Less because of 6 owners and a handful of accidents.

Hahahahaha. Thats funny. There is always a trail but seriously they might give you around 10k. I bought my 06 Charger RT with road and track package and it was worth 18. They offered me 11k. So ya you will get beat hard on it.

The trade in would prob be 8-10. Dealers use galves, not the inflated KBB.

8k? i doubt that. the car should get 11-13k at least. best bet is waiting till the summer and getting rid of it then , or during tax season to get the best out of it.. good luck man.

I galves a 06 RR RS with 97K 6 months ago and it was only 10K.

But then again, that's dealer wholesale pricing.

Sell it on the open market. End of story, if you wait longer at a dealer it will be even older and get less.

You'd be lucky to get 10k as a no BS money fudging trade. 8k is more realistic

Hell they could give you 15 for your trade on paper if that's what you want to see. They'll just put 7k on the price of the new car
