go to Night Shift and get JR Tuned. Great guy. never heard of a blown motor from a JR tuned evo, plus a 330whp Jr tuned pulls on a 350whp Ivey tune O.o go figure

Not for nothing, but that's a very opinionated statement. A power figure from one shop means absolutely nothing compared to one from another, as much as people would really like it to. Even if said car with lower horsepower pulled on another car with higher horsepower that doesn't mean the tune is better. There are a million reasons why car X pulled on car Y. The only way that statement is valid is if you put both cars on the same dyno, the same day and could literally say that the tune from tuner "a" is better or makes more power than the tune from tuner "b". Here's a great example, my car is a full weight X tuned by emery at STM, and I raced our buddies Evo 8 which was also tuned by emery. He made over 400 and I make 330 ish. At the 1/8 mile track I was running him down. Does that mean that the tune in the Evo 8 is bad? No it means he was having issues driving the car.

OP just do your research on local vendors around your area and support them if you feel they are worth your hard earned money. Iveytune is more than capable of tuning your X and they seem to do good work. Or if you aren't satisfied with local options you could always have some remote tune your car, but living in the tristate area there are plenty of viable options for you to choose from.

Justin 'Hollywood' Garrett is the best tuner hands down. Just get an accessport and have him tune it.

If you really want to go to a shop to get it tuned go to Speed Circuit in New Jersey.

btw, if you sign up for the RawEvo.com membership you get up to 30% discount at most major shops/tuners

I'm also in the market for a nice tune. So far Ivey and Petey from Krazy House Customs are on my list. I like Krazy House because they use a Mustang Dyno. Ivey uses Dynojet.

Sorry im not trusting anyone with a Hollywood nickname lol
Petey at KHC
John at Akuma
Tuned by both, great guys and know what there doing.
Each use a mustang dyno, my car had different #s at each shop. So who knows what dyno is true.
Ivey, CBRD, STM all are reputable shops with excellent tuners. We are lucky on the north east lots of good shops to choose from
