p.s. post on here so i know you are going or not because i need to make a count. we have 3 farely large driveways to pack cars in because my bro n sis live next door so parking shouldnt be a problem at all.





My friend wants to hold a BBQ at his house some time here between now and april. He has just purchased the R34 GTR skyline from NFS Underground. or willl be finalizing the deal tomorrow. We are hoping it will be here before the BBQ, but ya all dsms, evos, lancers, wrxs, stis or whatever are invited. Just vote for a weekend and hope its nice! We may wait til end of march or begininning of April because we are gonna wait for the Skyline to arrive. but let me know what you guys think about this. His house is in the NE region, around Twinsburg which is close to cleveland, or we can have it at my house doesnt matter, my house is in Holmes County, Amish Country, bout 1.2 hours from columbus and cleveland, im kinda in the center, so let me know.

Thought it would be cool to start an official Ohio club and events for the Evos, they had one for the S2000 on S2ki. and while at the house talk bout future events and attending to them.

 

We usually have a Subie/Mitsu meet every month at Quaker State and Lube in Valley View (close to Independence, a little south of Cleveland).

The set date for our next meet is March 20th, however the more I think about it, if your friend is having his BBQ at Twinsburg, we could congregate there instead. This is if you and your friend don't mind 15-20+ cars at his place, an array of STIs, WRXs, Evos, Lancers, and other rice rockets.

Either that or you and your friend could bring up the Evo and Skyline to the March 20th meet if he doesn't want that many people invading his home.

Definitely, we're trying to get our Evo/Mitsu ranks a little higher at these meets. It started off with two Evos, increased to three last meet, and we're looking at at least double of that next month! If you don't mind the drive then welcome to Cleveland...

 

that will work, ya he just moved in his new house, you guys are gonna be sick, hes 17 and has a Murcielago, Skyline GTR R34, EVO, BMW 760iL V12, Escalade, H2 Hummer.. ya its sick... but sweet

 

Wow, that's craziness, I'm green with envy..

But actually in the group there are a handful of young'ens, one of the Evos and STIs are owned by teenagers.

Makes me think back to the HS days when I could barely make it up the hill to my house in an 84' corolla....wait a minute that car was older than....

Well, check with the new skyline owner and double check if it's ok to have the meet there and I'll push the idea over the wall to the Subaru guys. You'll have to give me more info as well as we get closer to the 20th.

It'll be a nice change of scenery from the Lube!

His place must be unbelievable to fit all those cars!

 

Damn! A GTR R34 coming in the area. This will be intersting... Eric, we should definately run by the Subie crew.

I'm down to drool. A meet is a meet (although the whole wings and high speed driving concept has me hooked). I'm ready to ride either way.

 

Only one question remains, do he have a big enough driveway/parking lot/front yard to fit us all in? I don't mind parking on the streets although I don't think his neighbors will be too fond of us cloggin up the block with imports.

What do you guys think of the idea of paintball beforehand? The Subie guys were throwing some ideas around for doing some new things for our met and this was one of them. We could hit up the paintball course, release some frustration, clean up, and ride out to Twinsburg for some BBQ....

For those who can't meet for the earlier festivities can always come for the second half....

come to think of we could have a roast at our lake property, that would be neat too. whatever you guys vote for. But ya talked to my dad April 4th is perfect because he will be home as well. so how bout it

 

his twinsburg place is big as well, never been there, haha, my friends have. twinsburg is like an hour from my house on a bike going 140mph+ the whole so i have heard.. but Vote for a place, you want the open country with a nice house n stuff Vote my house, you want to be in Twinsburg vote his place I open for whatever. If you have ever been to Berlin, Sugarcreek, Walnut Creek or Millersburg, thats the area i live in.

 

We here at the shop would be interested in coming down to hang out. I know David and Myself would probably come down and I have another buddy with an evo, and another girl that I know.
