Uconn Car Show: THIS WEEKEND! 4/18
Ok guys here are the details:
Sunday April 18th:
9am-11am: Vehicle sign in
11am-4pm: Actual show
The entry fee for the show is $5, but if you just want to look around its free. There will be many different classes of cars so everyone is invited that has a love for cars. Get as many people as you can to come down! 200 cars are expected but we can handle more.
The entry form can be found on our page: www.uconncarclub.com
The show is located in a parking lot called "W" lot. Here is a link to a map of campus http://visitors.uconn.edu/webmaplg.htm. As you can see its located right off of rt 195 in the northern corner (h-14 on the map). If you arent sure how to get to Uconn you can go to the link here: http://visitors.uconn.edu/directns.htm.

Ill be there with my crew from mass, Twizted Dreamz. We should be rolling down with only 8 of the 15 members. Can we give you all of our info on the cars once we get there?

What kind of class will there be for my little mitsu? I compete in:
1) Mitsubishi (duh)
2) Vinyl Graphix ($900 in custom graphix)
3) Neon and Strobe
4) Import (duh again)
Just want to know what classes I will be falling into and what trophies there will be for those classes (1st,2nd,3rd, etc.)
Another thing, will you be awarding a best club trophie as well, cause we dont plan on stepping down for the throne anytime soon. We are there to have fun and support your club. We are not sore loosers and are always the first ones to offer our help if needed.

And I have a little surprise in store for the show. I started installing my custom nitrious/CO2 kit today. The bottle will be back from the paint shop (color matched to the car) tomorrow, and hopefully if weather permits, the purge valves will be in working order by saturday night. If not, whatever is done on it will be in and show ready.

Great job pete!!! Your car is one of the cleanest and most desireable evo's I have seen. You won best exterior right??? You had some serious competition with the custom paintjobs and widebody BMW!!! I on the otherhand had lots of fun and enjoyed showing what a little lancer can become! Nice guy and Nice ride! Congrats again!!!
