I believe if he can afford that car with those mods, surely he could find an apt complex that has garages.

Some people put all their money , time and energy into their cars. Nothing wrong with that. Everyone has different priorities in life, we shouldnt give him a hard time for that.

It's a car. Just a car, a simple inanimate object, not a friend or spouse or child. It has no feelings; fate and destiny and fortune don't affect it. People who are attached to a car, particularly a mass produced and relatively inexpensive car, have issues, IMO.
I'll second the quote I put above.

Wow, that sucks. BTW, the car powered by AEM EMS. So if anyone know a cheap AEM EMS (supra) forsale, it maybe the stolen part from this beautiful ride.

Hopefully he had insurance... a car like that your not going to get back in one piece its probably already parted out striped down to nothing and burned left in some logging road in the forest.

i havent actually talked to alex, but hes a friend of a friend. and hes also a neighbor to one of my good friends. his car was left at his parents house that night. and from what i have heard, it was the first night in 3 months that the car wasnt parked in the garage. the car had just blown the main seal that week so it leaked oil badly. he followed the trail for 2 miles but lost it at an intersection. ive seen alex at the track a lot and he seems like a good guy, and his car is sick as hell. very fast too 10.88 @ 135 is the fastest ive seen him run. i wish him the best of luck and he is currently offering a 2k reward to anyone who finds his car.

that car is either stripped down for parts, redone into another color or in another part of the country. someone went through a lot of trouble just to get to it. he/she/they wanted that car really bad to do all that. i doubt if you get it back, at least in one piece. good luck though...

If they put that much effort into stealing the car as you say they did, you can rest assured that by now that car is either getting re-vin'ed, and shipped out of country, or it's been cannobolized for everything it had on it, and is allready starting to rust out. It sucks, but it's the most likely scenario. Another hing that sucks, is unless you have special insurance on the last gen supra's, you don't getpaid anything near of what they're worth. If you look at NADA, that car is probably booking for around 20k but we all know a late model supra with low miles goes for far more than that, because they are classics before they're time. Bad situation to be in, my condolences.

For all that don't know most insurance companies offer custom car coverage that will cover your mods. I already used it before. Spend the extra bucks to protect your hard earned investment. When something like this happens you can rest assured.

Some examples
Friends GSR Turbo - Stolen had a check handed over to him for 33,000.00
Friends MIATA (with RX-7 engine) - covered for 60,000.00
My Old del~sol (GSR engine swap) - covered for 18,000.00
