Tri-Club track dat at PIR 6/24/05

The Tri-Club (Porsche, BMW, & Alpha clubs combined) track day is this Friday the 24th at PIR. Is anyone else going? I finally broke down & bought some dedicated track pads & cat-back + test pipe so I'm anxious to see how that works out. My car feels like it pulls a little harder now, and I'm hoping it's not just because it's a bit louder so it sounds faster.

EDIT: Sorry I had 7 instead of 6...

You can sign up through the Porsche, BMW, or Alpha clubs, but the Porsche club seems the most accessible so that's who I signed up through. Sorry I didn't post this earlier because the fee is now $150. Early registration was $100 before 6/18.

According to their website:
Pre-registration started May 24th
Pre-registration deadliner was June 17th
Even is scheduled for June 24th, Checkin starts at 7am

You can still register, you just don't get the pre-registration discount. Here is a link to the form with instructions:

Hope to see you there and maybe some other people too.

LOL I'm sorry maybe being out of school so long has made me forget how to explain things. The easiest way I think would be to print out that form, fill it out, and then show up ~6:50am on Friday, June 24th, 2005 (3 days from today), at PIR, with your checkbook and a helmet (Snell 95+)

Cheers, hope to see you out there

Ok,

lets try this, if you want to go to the JULY 24 PIR track day, sign up starts June 26. at least that is what the PCA web site said.

Yes, but I'm going to the one this Friday, and if you want to go to that one pre-registration has ended, but you can still pay the full $150 fee and register. If you want to go to the one in July you can pre-register starting June 26th and get the $100 discounted price.

I went last Friday & was the only Evo there. It was great fun & there were lots of outrageous cars including a Ford RS200, supercharged NSX's, Ferraris, Porsche GT2's and GT3's, too many really cool cars to name. If you haven't been to a track day, you haven't experienced your Evo...or at least not legally

I did awesome. I did 2 sessions and the instructor said hes was tired and that i was good to go by myself. so last 2 sessions i was by myself. 1st session by myself i think i had some heat soaking and came in to check things out. everything was fine after that. 2nd sessions my tires were well melted and i could feel the car starting to not take the turns well and the backend wanting to slide. I kept up with alot of nice cars. couple of the m3 guys came up to me and were like what the hell do you have done to that thing. it was very cool. Can't wait for July's track day.
How'd your tires hold up, i think i was running a bit to high pressure in mine?
