Non-adjustable BOV are garbage. Get a Forge or Greddy type S.

The APS does have an adjustment screw, but you can't fine tune the springs.

you dont need to ad just recirculating valves, which is what you need for a evo because of the mas sensor and extremly tight tolerances on turbo engine computers

All valves should be adjusted. I recirculate a Forge valve and I have swapped springs and shims numerous times in order to fine tune it. If you ever plan on turning up the boost, an adjustable BOV is a must have.

Some people only care about the sound of the BOV. That way they can impress all the kids at the local middle school. If you fit this profile, get whatever BOV you want.

Well If You Have Reserched Evo's At All You Would Now That Keep The Boost At 19 Psi Through The Whole Power Band Is Ideal, Versus 19 To 5600 Rpms And Tapers To 16 Psi As The Stock Is Programmed To Do To Much Boost = Boost Spike And Fuel Fouling, And If You Read My Post I Dont Want A Loud One, Thank You

Weren't you the one that posted this in General??

I've said this before -

APS all the way. I own a HKS SSQV on my Eclipse and the thing sounds cool, holds boost, but idle problems and surge problems (mind you this is also recirc'd). Then this is real stupid...HKS sells a little box for $139 that will take car of the surge problems. Why the hell would I spend over $200 and then by a box because your vavle is ****! The reason certain ppl don't have a problem from what I've seen is driving styles. Yes I know these are two different cars but, I've talked to ppl at HKS and they suck ***!! No customer service what so ever to put icing on the cake.

Anyway, I love the APS valve....hell I challenge you to find a bad write up. I looked for a while and never saw one.

As far as sound - It's kinda quite with the air box in...unless you get on it. Then you'll hear it.

Go with the APS, you won't regret it.

Joey
