The CEL fix I was talking about isn't the non-fouler method. You have to disable the periphary bit for EGR and then apply another patch for when you get IM'd. The second part forces your ECU to send a "PASS" signal when queried for IM purposes. You have to install a resistor though. I think I know an electrician that could do that....

Motorcycle helmets are generally DOT approved. You need something that's SNELL rated.

Well WTF?! That makes no sense. I guess it's just the side lines for this guy then.

Interesting. Well I have until February to figure it out. Will I still get a CEL with a high flow cat? And will it pass IM with a high flow cat?

Gonna part anything? How many miles are on it and how much would you sell for? I'll try to spread the word for you. Sorry to see you sell it though.

You may still get a CEL with a HFC just depends I guess. Yes you will pass IM if you aren't throwing anycodes, I dont think they do the sniffer test anymore. Just OBD and few other things.

Well thanks for the info. Met a guy today with a GG MR on Elmendorf. Didn't catch his name though. Black dude with no muffler. Anyone know him? He said he doesn't do the forum thing but might since that is how we communicate amongst one another. He's AF.
