My car has an AEM and is running off of a base map due to EMS malfunction. When I bought the car, I never received a copy of the tune.
Is there any reputable AEM tuners in alaska? Im already preparing myself to convert to stock ECU and get a Mellon tune. Im just curious if there is another option.
I live in Alaska, but Im currently deployed in Iraq. Id love to have my car running as soon as I get home in september!

The only places that might tune AEM is Underground Performance and Hales Technical. Both of which are in Anchorage.
My two cents is sell the AEM and get the stock ECU back in there. Head over to the ECUFlash subforum and you soon learn that the ECU disassemblers have almost eliminated the advantages that stand alones had. If they can convince David Buschur to run the stock ECU on his latest car then that is definitely saying something about the capes of the stock ECU.
So, throw the stock ECU back in, get ahold of Mellon and let him work his magic.

Well everybody, its not too soon to start thinking about fall tanacross. I can not wait!
The club has been working hard to better our events for our membership and we are looking forward to this fall. We've been working on our competition rules, event organization, promoting the club and many other things to get the word out.
Don't forget! Labor day weekend, September 5th and 6th!

Well I know that the silver 8 with graphics used to belong to Stanley of Stanley motors but sold it to someone (probably soldier) on Richardson. There is a white 8 with a JDM rear bumper that belongs to a pizza delivery guy. Don't know who they belong to so I was no help to you Rusty but I had to put my two cents in. On another note, I am going to be painting my wheels sometime soon before the weather gets real crappy or crappier.
