Finished all my parts installs..........turned out to be a much bigger PITA than expected with the o2 housing. Thankfully there will never be a next time because the new o2 housing seems to allow socket access to the rear most nut. Gotta take my old o2 housing somewhere. The front o2 sensor won't come out and is starting to strip. Tried PB blaster, torch, and I'm using the right size tool.
If it is toast I'll just splice in my wideband.... lol I'm sure that damn sensor is over $200 easy.

And eric, IIRC my replacement wideband sensor was only about $60-70 at O'Reilly's

All the parts have shown up, with the exception of the cams, Intake Manifold, TB and short block. Had a little hiccup with the short block, hope to have it in town within the next month. After that I will break it in and stick with race gas from here on out.
And I won't Drag Race it just to **** Rusty off. LOL

yeah the wideband is but the front narrow band is more expensive and thats what I screwed up... I already got a replacement so its all good. Just for fun I tried to get it out and had the housing (old one) in a vice and went to town on it. Thing was in there so tight the whole surface was rounded and still couldn't get it out, tried more pb, more torch, vice grips and a hammer.... whatever if I couldn't afford $100 for a replacement sensor (dealership quoted me $280 lol) my hobby wouldn't be cars.

You can still go fast on the stock exhaust but if you want to be ultra old man just get a new vette and in 10 years sell it with 7k on the clock lol.
