Slipping means your transmission and drivetrain won't take the brunt of the force...

http://www.roadraceengineering.com/evo.htm for a clutch kit. I got the 3200lb kit years ago. I'd hate to see what they are now. I got mine for $525 shipped back in 07

Dude why do you need something more then your current mods?? Do you plan having a 10 second street car in the near future. Have you looked at all your options sir??

I have a Spec stg 3+ in my talon and I love it. It has the pressure of ACT 2600 but not the heavy *** pedal feel.

Saw a red Evo VIII on the road last weekend, seemed fairly modded and had an aftermarket front bumper. Anyone on here?

I gave him the thumbs up and I got the nod, hope to see more of you guys out there on the road!

You'll know it's me when you see a GG with the jacked up front end.

I couldn't tell what kind of wheels he had as we were moving, but I know he didn't have a lip on the front bumper, it was an aftermarket front bumper. Couldn't tell what brand/style off the bat.

That 3200lb kit will ensure that no matter what he does he won't be replacing his clutch anytime soon.

It's not that over the top...after all, that's what I have....and I didn't spend near that much to get all that crap years ago...damn.

Nope, it had a wing, carbon fiber hood, and an aftermarket front bumper. That's basically all I could remember haha.

How was everyone's weekend?

News on the motor front. Found the valve guide seal was jacked. Don't run a stock top end up to 8k without springs and retainers.

The compression rings on Cyl one were also not offset very far from one another. I believe this is why the compression #'s were lower on that Cyl.

Waiting on the motor now.

I was under the impression 8k was fine on the stock head and valve train. I've done it several times, maybe a handful, and only at the track to avoid shifting into 5th.

specs on new motor?
