Nice, my Meth kit was supposed to come in yesterday but didn't, I'm starting to get pissed.thanks for the heads up on the new forum. Can't wait to see how much your car is going to rip with the rebuilt Turbo and your new tune.

^^ Car might be a while. Found a lot of coolant in the oil. I assume it's from the turbo failure but it could be something with the motor that caused the coolant and then that in turn caused the turbo to fail. We don't really know till we put the new turbo on drive it and then pull the oil to see. If so then I will be rebuilding the block or buying a short block.

Damn that sucks. I hope you don't have to rebuild the motor, that would put your car down for a while. It's an evo I'm sure it's fine though haha. My Meth still isn't here! Didn't come yesterday like it said it would. Well actually it said Monday so now Thursday it'll hopefully be here.

I think the blacks are just oil cooled so I don't know how a failure of that turbo seal would cause coolant to get into the oil. Usually when there is coolant in the oil isn't that a head gasket problem most likely? Thankfully if you get it before it causes more problems a head gasket isn't so bad to replace.

Also what meth kit did you get GOO?

ordered my tires today, was going to get the hankook rs-3 but supply issues allowed me to read about how poorly they perform in the cold and wet.... which for alaska is kinda important. So I went with the Toyo r1rs

We are pulling the head off tomorrow to get the head gasket knocked out and then go from there.

nice, when was the last time you did the timing belt? might consider trying to do that also if its been a while. Since you'll be in there anyway.
