Right. TRE's is a little bit more expensive because he pretty much completely redoes the whole diferential. Plus whatever options you add to it, can make it around $1k. The basic rebuild from TRE starts at $525, which is what I'm doing, along with the HD side cover and site glass option. I think Zach would just do the upgrade from Shep which is $350 and that includes all parts and labor.

Hey steel, which bank did you go with? I went w/ak usa, had the check expressed in a day and everything went pretty smooth. Keep in mind, the vehicle is in Ohio, so i'm assuming yours should have been there by now. Any reason you went w/the MR though over a gsr?

Yea I went with ak usa as well. Its not my financing its the paperwork. 1st time they messed up the vin and 2nd time FedEx lost my paperwork so we'll see how long this takes. My patience are running thin. I went with the MR for a few reasons, the sst tranny can only handle about 350hp which is good bc that means I wont want to mod every thing under the sun. I also have to drive downtown a lot for work and its just a pain in the ***, so the sst was just more appealing. Im excited to get it and drive it to see how it feels. I have 2 other manual cars and the wife will drive this every now and then.

SST I had in my 09 ralliart was pretty fun. Thing I love about the X is the HUGE suspension/wheel combination you can run with the wider body. Plus little interior additions were aesthetically pleasing as well.

I wanna keep my mods basic. Upgrade to a double din and add the cobb stage 2 with a cobb uicp. That shoukd put me at 330whp which is more then enough for my dd. I like the more luxurious interior.

Yea but not on a stock tranny. They make a nice stage 5 kit that will hold up to 500hp for $4500. Which isnt bad considering a new tranny is north of 9k.

That's not even including the $800+ install cost.

I'd do the Ivey upgrade which consists of Dodson parts if you upgrade the tranny. Hopefully you get it all sorted out though.
