your right Advans are not cool in the snow, this is my first winter in fairbanks and the advans had to go.......

 

I bet the advans would freeze flat spots in fairbanks!!! I had a junk winter car up there that would do that - clunk along for a mile or two untill they warmed up.

 

I was looking for this thread and couldn't find it. Glad it finally popped back up. On the 30th of October I was heading to Palmer in a rental car when I exchanged a wave with somebody in a silver VIII. It was just before noon. Hopefully he's on the forum.

 

the ADVANS would freeze bad... but i changed to FUZION HRI's thar not a winter tire but thay do alot better than the advans.....

 

Hello, new guy here. I have had my evo for a couple weeks now. Picked it up just before the snow flew. Its a pearl grey mr. I got hakka 5s the night before the snow stuck in anchorage. I drove the red evo 8 that was at the park & sell dimond a year or so ago and was blown away.
Any how I will be checking up on this thread and going to the other site i seen on this thread.

So how many evo's are left at Stanley?? I heard they have been dropping their prices... about time. I bought mine in California and saved 8 grand when the IX's first came up here.

 

3 or 4 all MRs. Yeah they advertised at 33800 or so.
