WORKS croxx plate helps a little, or you could go to Cascade Autosport and have them make you a custom underbody shield that covers more than the stock one.

Boeing surplus is a great place to source raw materials if you just want to do it yourself.

Sure they're right down the hill from my house

Take I-5 to 405, get onto 405 north
Take 167 south
Get off on the 212th exit (second exit)
Take a right off the ramp
At your first light take a right
It is the next light on your left

They're only open a couple days a week so it would be worth it to check the yellow pages and call them to make sure they're open.
They always have scrape metal around, I've picked up large sheets of thin aluminum for counter tops amazingly cheap. All the metal is just sold by the pound.
I've also got honeycomb (for fiberglass), benches, tables, drill bits, etc..
