sounds good thanks. also im gooing to do cams and maybe a 20g 9 before he gets here. im thinks b/c im staying with a small turbo i will go with HKS 280. do you think that is to big, and also how bad is the idle. its my daily driver so i dont want it to be to bad and also i have seen on here guys having problems with the car car staying at a set idle and the car will stal.just thought that i would check around and see what other guys said. i already have downpipe, cat delete, exgaust, injen intake/ic pipe, mail in flash.

If you are going to have a daily driver and don't want bad idle lobe.....then go with the 264's. If you are going to do a little track/drag here and there, then a 264/272. 280's would be too big for a daily driver and as you've already stated " its my daily driver so i dont want it to be to bad"

Usually, 280's are for guys who are going all out drag/track on their car and typically don't daily drive them.

if you want to know if 280's will work ask Al he's doin the tunning he will know the most as for a daily driver 272/272 is fine and they will idle almost like stock it's up to you if you put gears on and tune it with gears I think 280s can work just fine with gears also. I have works cams which are 269/269 but are almost the same as 272's and I've never had a problem. ask al or david they will know forsure

i just recently got my hks 280's installed and love them, nothing feels better than being pulled into your seat at 7500 rpm's , and i daily drive my car, i could have it idle like stock w/ the ems, but i chose not to at this time, i want them to lobe, as i think it sounds MEAN

my buddy, jake montgomerry, he won the battle of the imports in seatle in his dsm, he definately knows what he's doing, expect that i'm having some problems holding boost, damn bov wont hold anything over 18psi, so it spikes at 23psi dropping to 17psi, and it still seems to pull HARD, thats what the owner of the z06 told me after i wooped him on the freeway

nope, i've got the stock head still, and it seems to be holding fine up to 8000rpm's......you dont have an ems right, from what i remember, i dont know if running 280's and just an afc would work

You dont need a built head for 280s, the standalone just allows for good driveability.
