it finally happened
hey guys, i dont know if you all remembered me from a year ago. i tried to score a 2005 evo 8 but my x-wife didnt budge or want to make it happen. well, 1 year later...it happened. i am the proud owner of a 2007 Evo 9 in white. it had 91 miles on it and was perfect. it is great to finally join the community. mountain mitsubishi made it alot easier to get this car this time around. they are great people and i look forward to car meets and stopping by there from time to time. my true calling has always been an Evo despite my laundry list of cars (dont ask). they maxed out my trade on my eddie bauer expedition and i just had to make a deal! i am probably gonna talk to haze and see if he can hook me up with some really nice pics! maybe we can get a nice photo shoot going with everyone's evo's.
well guys, it is great to finally join up completely and i cant wait to see u all out there! Thanks for being a great friend Joe, u are the coolest! i was trying to find you to help make the deal but u werent in. I went with Joshua instead!

Congrats!! I know exactly what you mean about the wife and the cars. My ex-wife also forced me to buy a car that I did not want(WRX). I still regret everyday of purchasing the WRX, it was agaisnt my will.
My advise is that if you are the one making the payments just tell everyone to shut up and let you buy whatever you like.

hey guys, bad news...i had to give back my evo 9 for now. we couldnt get the deal right due to down payment issues. they are going to either try to make a ludicrous deal on that particular 9 or get me a used evo 9 with extremely low miles that will work. i told them i will take a used evo 8 with low miles that will make the deal work as well.
i had a great time driving one! i should have either the same one by the end of the week or another evo! wish me luck again LOL!

HUh? they took it back, almost the same thing happend to me w/ Mountain, in the end they gave me what I owed on my Jeep ($$$$$$$) and worked w/ the price so it came to way below what they were asking, (not below invoice, still above) but way cheaper then everyone else, and they gave me 6k move on my trade then anyone would even go for r egardless of how low the miles were, etc.. they worked super hard to make it happen for me, i'm sure they will make it happen for you..

i gave the car back to them because of down payment issues. they didnt have a problem taking it back. they are gonna work on getting me another one that will work out. i am talking to my friend at subaru of puyallup to see what they can do for an STi if possible but it doesnt seem they will get something to work at this time. i will keep with getting an evo!

im a little nervous about this deal. they are gonna see if they can put me into a low mileage 8 or even the same evo 9 i just had. im nervous over the disequity i have that im trying to work out. i feel i might be getting in over my head but that will depend on what they can do for me. i really dont want to pay that silly northwest adjustment. im working to see what they can do. i might just tell them to find me a used evo so the adjustment is no factor
